Exciting nutrition events for healthcare practitioners
25 January 2016
Do you see clients who have problems controlling their blood glucose levels? This important health issue, known as dysglycaemia, is incredibly common and can manifest in debilitating ways long before it progresses to type 2 diabetes. Reactive hypoglycaemia, the metabolic syndrome, dyslipidaemia and polycystic ovary syndrome are just some of the complications that can arise from long-term problems with blood sugar control. If left unchecked, these conditions can have dire consequence for health, including premature ageing, heart attack, stroke, amputations, kidney failure, nerve pain, blindness and even an early death.
This is just one of the topics that we'll be covering in our new season of nutrition full-day events. We're also re-running our popular days on:
- Nutritional support for mind, memory and mood; and
- Autoimmune conditions.
Most of these events are at the Royal Society of Medicine in central London. We're also doing a date in the lovely spa town of Tunbridge Wells.
